By engaging our services, you agree to abide by these Terms.


  1. Deposit and Commencement:
    1. A 50% deposit of the total project cost is required before work on your website begins. This deposit is non-refundable and secures your position in our project schedule.
  2. Timelines:
    1. Timelines provided for project completion are estimates and subject to change based on various factors such as the complexity of the project and timely feedback from you. While we strive to adhere to the proposed schedule, delays beyond our control may occur.
  3. Link to Ladybug Media:
    1. As part of our portfolio and promotion efforts, we reserve the right to add a discreet link to Ladybug Media's website in the footer of your website, crediting us as the design and development agency.
  4. Browser Testing:
    1. We undertake reasonable efforts to ensure that your website is functional and accessible across major browsers. However, we cannot guarantee complete compatibility with all browser versions and devices due to the constantly evolving nature of web technologies.
  5. Governing Law:
    1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
  6. Website Security Maintenance:
    1. We take website security seriously and are committed to maintaining a safe online environment for your website. Our in-house platform ensures regular updates and diligent monitoring to safeguard against potential vulnerabilities and threats. In the unlikely event of any security breach or technical issue, we will make every effort to promptly resolve the situation. However, we do not assume liability for any damages or losses resulting from such incidents.
  7. Intellectual Property:
    1. Upon receipt of full payment, you will own the intellectual property rights to the final design of your website. However, any third-party materials used in the project, such as stock photos or licensed software, will remain subject to their respective licenses and terms.
  8. Confidentiality:
    1. We will treat all information you provide us with the utmost confidentiality. We will not disclose, sell, or share your sensitive information with any third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by law.
  9. Termination::
    1. In the event of termination of the project by either party, you will be liable to pay for the work done up until that point, including any additional expenses incurred on your behalf.
  10. Amendments to Terms:
    1. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you, and continued use of our services after the modifications will constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.
